7:01 PM IST, 7:31 PM Local Time: It's time for the post-series presentation.
Tom Latham (New Zealand Captain): "[What was going through the mind when Foxcroft was keeping them in the hunt?] Yeah, that was some clean-striking from Foxcroft. A bit too much to do in the end. Things would have been different had we got some wickets in hand. Unfortunately, failed to put on a good performance but credit to Bangladesh.

[On not being able to put partnerships while batting] I think probably similar to the second game. As a batting unit, we weren't able to put partnership at the top. Losing wickets throughout that top 20-25 overs. It puts you on the backfoot. We just weren't able to build partnerships today.

[On the bowling performance today] We took wickets at the back end. But credit goes to Litton and Shanto for putting that partnership. Breaking it was the key and unfortunately, we couldn't do it. At the halfway stage, we were happy with the total. But we failed to get those partnerships in the chase."

Najmul Hossain Shanto (Player of the Match): "[on feeling] It's pretty hot but no excuses. I feel better now.

[on losing wickets at the other end] They bowled brilliant areas but I always try to stay in present and not look back too much. I looked to execute my plans and tried to play as straight as I can.

[on the partnership with Litton] The way Litton played today was outstanding. He held one end and I scored the runs. We tried to get a big partnership for the team."
Player of the Series: Nahida Rana
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh Captain): "[It was not easy in the end, wasn't it?]  It was an excellent match. The boys bowled really well in the end. Mustafizur also.

[On the partnership between Shanto and Litton] Shanto and Litton were excellent. We lost three wickets early. Both took the responsibility. They are the senior guys and they have to take the responsibility. They played really well.

[Were they confident of defending this total at the halfway mark?] Yes. Because we knew the conditions. The ball will spin. When the momentum is coming, the boys were exciting. They know the conditions and know how to bowl in these conditions.

[On their fielding today] I think boys fielded very well. Two catches were very important."
Mehidy collects the series winning trophy, greets the presentation party and heads towards his teammates to celebrate a well deserved series win! The official photographs are taken as well!
That’s it from the three-match ODI series. The three-match T20I series between these two nations starts on Monday. Do join us for that. Now, it’s time for us to take your leave. This is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ninaad Dixit and scorers Rajesh Pal and Sahil Khan. Bye bye.
