This was the eighth time Australia whitewashed an opponent in a bilateral T20I series comprising at least three matches.
Time for the Post-Match Presentations....
Towhid Hridoy (Bangladesh Captain): "(What went wrong with Bangladesh batting?) At the beginning, we lost a couple of wickets, and that was the main issue. When you lose early wickets, it becomes very difficult to build a competitive total.

(On him scoring a fifty) I tried my best and tried to execute my plans. Unfortunately, we couldn't build the partnerships that were needed.

(Was the surface difficult for batting?) Not really. The wicket was quite good. We just didn't bat well as a team. The key would be building a partnership at the start. That's all we needed. If we had managed a good partnership early on, we could have easily reached 170 or 180 runs."
Best Economical Bowler of the Series: Nasum Ahmed
Best Batter of the Series: Matt Renshaw
PLAYER OF THE SERIES: MATT RENSHAW
Matt Renshaw (Player of the Series): (On Australia's 3-0 series win and his all-round contribution) "Yeah, it was really nice. Nice to win 3-0 and nice to contribute with both bat and ball. It has been a little bit difficult at times, but today Australia showed how dominant we can be with both the bat and the ball.

(On Australia's performance in the match) I think we obviously started well. The boys in the powerplay did really well, and then the guys at the top set up the run chase nicely. I also thought the bowlers were brilliant, especially today.

(On the bowlers putting Bangladesh under pressure) We kept taking consecutive wickets, and all the boys were really good today. Those wickets put the Bangladesh top order under pressure, and fortunately for us, it turned into a good chase.

(On his experience touring Bangladesh) Yeah, definitely. It's been a bit different. The last time I was here was in 2017. It's a great place to play, and the team here is really good. It's going to be a good Test series in a couple of months."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: MITCHELL MARSH
Mitchell Marsh (Player of the Match and Australia Captain): (On Australia's 3-0 series sweep) "Yeah, it's nice to lead this series 3-0. I'm really proud of the boys. It was a great effort.

(On Australia's performance with bat and ball) I thought we executed really well. I'm not sure how I got Man of the Match. I think Spencer Johnson took three wickets for six runs off four overs, so maybe he should be up here. But I thought it was an outstanding all-round performance.

(On adapting to the conditions) The way we adapted to the conditions and the way we took our learnings from each and every game was fantastic. I thought we were really good with the ball today.

(On the team's response after losing the ODI series) It is a very pleasing feeling. We didn't win the one-day international series, but to come back and complete a 3-0 sweep in the T20 series is really satisfying.

(On the squad's depth and contributions) It's awesome to have some guys making their debuts and some guys coming back into the team after a long time out, and contributing really well. It's a great team to be around, and I'm very happy."
And what better way to cap off a dominant series than with a champion's celebration? Mitchell Marsh steps forward to receive the trophy and soon gathers the entire squad and support staff behind the WINNER'S board for the traditional team photograph. Smiles everywhere. Three wins in three games. Job done. But Australia were not finished entertaining the crowd just yet. Tim David and Nathan Ellis added a touch of flair to the festivities as they hopped onto a bike stationed near the presentation area, posing for pictures with their teammates cheering around them. Then came the fun part. The pair fired it up and cruised around the outfield, soaking in the applause from the crowd and the joy of a perfect T20I campaign. A fitting victory lap for a team that dominated from start to finish and leaves Bangladesh with the trophy firmly in their grasp and plenty of memories in their pocket.

So, where does this leave both sides? Australia leave Chattogram with a perfect 3-0 T20I whitewash and tremendous confidence. Mitchell Marsh led from the front. Spencer Johnson produced a spell for the highlights reel. Adam Zampa, Nathan Ellis, and the supporting cast all played their roles. Bangladesh will take heart from Towhid Hridoy's lone battle, but the overall performance leaves plenty to reflect upon. A thumping win. A complete performance. And a reminder that when Australia find rhythm, they don't just win matches... they tend to run away with them. That's all from Chattogram.

Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator, Karthik Raj, scorer Yogesh Kumar, and statistician Aman. Also, a special thanks to Mohammad Anab for chipping in when needed. That’s it from our side. Thanks for joining. But cricket doesn’t sleep. Plenty is happening around the world. Switch tabs, follow the fun. Goodbye from this tab! TAKE CARE! BREATHE AND SMILE! CIAO!!!!
