Shubman Gill (POTM & Gujarat Titans Captain): "[Batting second is fine since he wanted to bat first at the toss] Yeah, I mean there was some confusion there but happy to get the win.

[On his partnership with Sai Sudharsan] Honestly, I think we complement each other well. We understand each other's game very well. When batting, our communication is very good, we know one of us has to take down a bowler, and we are very good to decide who will take down which bowler.

[On Sudharsan's unusual dismissal] I don't think no one has seen anything like that. Two matches in a row, the way he got out. I saw some video on social media about taping his hand, I think I am going to have to do that in the next match.

[On his knock] Honestly, I think it is all about, I was in a kind of zone where I was looking at the gaps, I wasn't looking to hit the ball too hard. I was just trying to see the ball, see my zones and try to hit it there.

[On hitting gaps at will] That's what happens when you are batting well. You see the gaps and you middle everything and very fortunate that we got a target of 210. At one point, it looked like we are going to keep them to 180-190. Once we got to a start, we spoke about I actually wanted to finish the game. Was quite sad how I got out.

[On having many bowling options] We are very fortunate. We have some really great bowlers. We played Sai this game but he didn't get to bowl an over. It happens, we have 6-7 bowling options and we bat quite deep. It is about clicking in the final so hopefully, we are going to have another great game.

[On playing final in Ahmedabad] The feeling is good. But quick turnaround so tomorrow we'll just rest and recover and then go there and assess conditions. I think if you don't play the occasion it brings the best out of us and that's what we spoke about. Let's take the occasion out and play some good cricket. Whether we win or lose, we should play good cricket."

Shubman Gill leads Gujarat Titans from the front with a thumping century and takes the team into the final. The Titans will have the home advantage in the summit clash, but they are up against the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Ahmedabad will be buzzing on Sunday (May 31) for the title clash. RCB have recently outplayed GT in Qualifier 1 in Dharamsala and directly made it to the summit clash. The Gill-led side took a slightly longer way to the final, but the important thing is that they are there in the final. Both teams have had a brilliant season and are one win away from the silverware. Both are eyeing their second title!

On the other hand, RR's season is over in Qualifier 2. You've got to feel for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The 15-year-old punched above his weight this season, but it wasn't enough in the end. He broke records for fun. He batted with maturity yet positively tonight, but that wasn't enough to stop GT. Jofra Archer and Dhruv Jurel also had a dream season, but the two weren't at their best tonight.

So, don't forget to join us for the box-office clash on Sunday. It's RCB vs GT at Narendra Modi Stadium for the title. Before that, we have many games from around the world to bring you live. Keep glued to our network. For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ajay Pal Singh, Pritam Dey, Darpan Tikiya and Akshay Bhide, scorers Manish Bishnoi and Paras Yadav and statistician Aman.
