Rinku Singh (Meerut Mavericks Captain): "[How happy are you with this victory?] Yes, I’m very happy because we got off to a really good start with the bat today as well. If you score around 70 runs in the first six overs, that’s a very good start. When you get a good start, you can play with clear intent, and then everything starts falling into place.
[Which boxes did you manage to tick today?] Like today, Chikara showed great intent, and Rituraj also showed intent. So, everything worked well for us on the field today."

[On the conditions and game-plan] It was a very good track, so we knew we can get a good total. So, took on the Powerplay. I like to stand still and hit sixes.
[About his unique celebration] I wanted to do a different celebration. I saw someone do this celebration in the India-Pakistan game.
[Coming back after a quiet season] Hopefully, by elder's blessings, I will have a good season this time around.
[What did you learn from star players at RCB] I learnt from Virat Kohli to focus on your practice and give your 100 per cent in practice. I have been trying to follow the same.
[Goal for the season?] My goal is to have the best strike-rate, make the most runs and have the most sixes."
