Karan Sharma (Kashi Rudras Captain and POTM): "(On his batting mindset today) I didn't have anything extra. I was just trying to continue what I've been doing well with my batting, take the game deep, and thankfully, the result went our way.
(About him bowling today) I've always had it in my mind that I need to contribute with the ball as well. I felt I might get an opportunity to bowl one or two overs, so I did, and thankfully, I got a wicket.
(Changes in his footwork while batting today) No, sir, I didn't specifically think that I shouldn't use my feet. I was just trying to play the ball as late as possible and let it come to me. There was obviously a little bit of variable bounce in the wicket. So I felt that once I had spent some time at the crease and taken the game deep, I could then trust my shots. Thankfully, I was able to execute them. Thank God for that.
(Any concerns regarding the top-order batters) We had a new opener today, and he gave us a very good start. I think he went out there and played exactly the role that was given to him, so I thought he did really well. In the middle overs, yes, obviously we can get better. We can take the game deeper and execute a little better. But thankfully, the result went our way, so we won't think about it too much. We'll try to move on and focus on the next match."

A clinical performance by Kashi Rudras as they have registered a fine 15-run victory over Gorakhpur Lions. Around 20 additional runs were leaked by the Gorakhpur bowlers in the first innings, which ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides.
