Mayank Yadav (Player of the Match): "(Team is eliminated. So what was your plan while bowling?) Thought was only to put the effort in every match. Main thing is that T20 is a quick format. I think the more a player puts in the effort, the more he keeps his focus, the more he excels.
(How do you generate that pace?) I think it is a mixed thing. It is a blessing for me, but there's also a lot of hard work. When I knew that I can deliver at that pace, I worked hard on that.
(You have taken wickets on your first ball thrice since the Zimbabwe series. Any secret you want to share?) There's no secret. Batters also stay nervous in the first ball about how will it come off the deck, so I try to bowl a perfect ball. If that goes for boundary, you can not complain in this format.
(On his partnership with Simarjeet Singh) Combination is good. I think I am playing with him since 2022, so there's a bonding and understanding, so it helps us in decision making. We stay very positive."

East Delhi Warriors have come out victorious in this contest outplaying Outer Delhi Warriors completely. Bowling first, they bundled the Warriors for 134. Although they could have wiped off the Warriors' tail earlier, but Harsh Tyagi put up a fight and that helped ODW to get a competitive total. Kavya Gupta and Vaibhav Baisla added 71 runs for the 4th wicket in the second innings to kill the run chase and they won the game by 7 wickets and with 25 balls to spare.
