Match Abandoned No result

Update | 11:03 PM IST: The play will resume at 11:30 PM IST. The umpires inspected the outfield and they are happy with it. It will be nine overs per side. A bowler can bowl a maximum of two overs. The Powerplay will be of three overs.
Akshay: Ohh noooo....Why God Why? We were moments away from the start of play and it's starting to drizzle again. The covers are back on. For a five-over contest, the cut-off time is 11:59 PM IST. Let's see whether we get any game today. Stay tuned for further updates.
Arya: It is highly unlikely that we will have any more action today. Waiting for the official confirmation but it looks extremely bleak. It raining at the moment which means that it looks impossible for the groundsmen to make things match ready before the cut-off time.
23:50 PM IST | It's still drizzling and I am afraid this could be it. We are just 10 minutes away from the cut-off time.
23:52 PM IST | Bad news fellas. Match has been abandoned.
Arya: It has been frustrating scenes all through the series and it's the third match that has been abandoned in the series. Pakistan managed to win the only match which had a result. It was more of a tri-series between West Indies Pakistan and rain and in the end, Rain wins the series hands down.
Arya: The series started off with a washout at Barbados after Windies batted 9 overs, it was a brilliant performance by Pakistan to defend a relatively modest 157. Just 4.3 overs in total were possible in the last two matches. It has been frustrating for not only the players but also for the fans across the globe who could have witnessed some classic contests. Nonetheless, Pakistan will still take the series 1-0 and continues their domination in bilateral series against the Caribbeans.
Kieron Pollard, West Indies skipper- It is disappointing. Looking forward to the CPL in a couple of weeks time. Dwayne Bravo has been fantastic for us. He told us earlier that this will be his last series in West Indies. He should look to sign off in style in the T20 World Cup provided he gets selected in the World Cup squad. (laughs)
Babar Azam: As a team we wanted to execute a few plans, try combinations, but we couldn't do that because of rain. Difficult to stay away from family in these times and play cricket. But credit to the management for doing well. We wanted to improve on the areas we were lacking, try combinations. We have a few more games to do that. Looking forward to the Tests. We will now switch our minds to the Test format. (Babar Azam used the help of a translator).
That brings us to an end of our coverage for today. Ta-ta and good night from Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and my commentator Akshay Bhide.
