And that's it for Namibia. One of the greatest moments in the history of Namibian cricket. Quite fitting that captain Erasmus is out there with an experienced Wiese to see that through for his team. Again Young goes fuller outside off, Wiese throws his hands at that and ends up slicing that just over the deep cover fielder off to the boundary ropes. A historic moment for Namibia.

And with that Namibia chased down 126 quite comfortably with 8 wickets and 9 ball remaining to book their place in the Super 12s. Plan executed with perfection for the Namibian skipper as he stayed till the end to see his team through along with the former South African international, David Wiese. A historic day for Namibia as they qualify for the main event of the T20 World Cup for the first time in their history.

Ireland kept it extremely tight in the powerplay not giving any width to both the openers as Williams perished inside the powerplay looking to accelerate. Kevin O’Brien took a screamer to get rid of the danger man and the Namibian skipper came into bat. Zane Green struggled throughout his stay at the crease and eventually holed out the veteran Kevin O’Brien in the 14th over after a valuable partnership of 49 with his skipper

David Wiese walked in and took apart Young, picking up from where he left in the last game. He was sensational today and built a solid partnership with Erasmus as Namibia chased down the below-par total comfortably with 8 wickets and an over left to play.

Stay tuned for the Post Match presentation.

David Wiese gets the Player of the Match award.
David Wiese | Man of the Match "It's completely overwhelming, Erasmus deserves it more for his fantastic knock under pressure. A lot of work has been put into the team, behind the scenes. It was a decent day after all with a few mishaps in the middle. Thanks for the support everyone"
Andrew Balbirnie | Winning Captain "It hurts a lot, It's really tough one take, We did get runs on the board. It will take a lot to forget this. I think, these two guys played brilliantly and especially their skipper who was exceptional to take them home"
Gerhard Erasmus | Winning Captain  "I said in the press conference that we run a tight ship. A small country, small number of people play cricket and we are proud of ourselves. I count on my senior men to stand up when the pressure is on. And two of us did it tonight. Hopefully, we can do it through the tournament. Hasn't sunk in yet, maybe on the way home."
So that's goodbye from me, Anurag, and my partners Arya Sekharchakraborty, Akshay Bhide and Zeeshan Naiyer from the comm box. Switch tabs to the final match of the first round as Sri Lanka take on Netherlands. Good night and take care!!
