Arm ball angled into Bavuma who flicks it straight to square leg and sneaks in a quick single.

M Hasan to D Miller
FOURR!! Bottom hand comes to play as Miller finishes things off in style. Pitched up on the stumps, Miller moves his front leg aside and whips it over mid wicket for a boundary.
RSA won by 6 wickets

And with that, we come to the conclusion of the 30th match of the group stage as South Africa chase down this mere total of 85 with 7 wickets to further lay the groundwork of booking their berth into the semi-finals. This is the seventh victory for South Africa in 7 games against the Tigers in the T20s. The Proteas will now take on England in their final match of the Super 12s on 6th November.

Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks started the chase for the Proteas and the Tigers needed early wickets to have some control in the game. They got exactly that as Taskin Ahmed scalped Reeza Hendricks in just the over itself. Quinton de Kock perhaps got too greedy trying to take on Mahedi Hasan soon after he hit two boundaries and he departed soon after.

Bangladesh kept on knocking and got regular breakthroughs but the first innings total set by them was too low to even have a chance. Taskin Ahmed was sensational at the start as he rattled through the top and middle-order of the Proteas, striking the in-form Markram on a duck.

The skipper, Bavuma came on and played a calm and composed knock along with Rassie Van der Dussen and built a solid partnership of 47 runs. Miller came on and hit the winning runs as they chased down this small total comfortably 6 wickets and more than 6 overs to spare.

Kagiso Rabada is named the player of the match.
Kagiso Rabada: "The wicket favored the seamers and I'm glad that it worked for me today. It's nice to see some swing with the new ball and we saw in the IPL that it swings here. So happy to extract some upfront. As per my understanding, this wicket is the quickest in the UAE. So happy to see Nortje get rewards for the work he is putting in."
Mahmudullah | Losing captain "I think the wicket was pretty good to bowl on in the first half. We weren't good enough in the middle. That was a poor batting display, but having said that there was enough assistance in the pitch. Taskin has been bowling well in this tournament. We had the choice between Taskin and Fizzy, but we went with Taskin because he has been bowling well in this tournament. It's frustrating, but we could have won two games. If we had won those games, it would have been a different story"
Temba Bavuma | Winning captain "Quite a lot in the wicket early on, but full credit to KG and Nortje for exploiting it. Yeah, I guess it’s a bit of both, when I came on it was tricky. The ball was doing things and I stayed calm and tried to hit the loose deliveries. It’s just the one game, we will play our best. England have got the better of us recently but we are ready”

So that's goodbye from me, Anurag, and my partners Dasgupta, Akshay and our scorer Zeeshan from the comm box. Switch tabs to move into the second fixture of the day between, Pakistan and Namibia. Good night and take care!!
