Beaten! Good length outside the off stump, back of the hand delivery, a top spinner. Surya looks to drive but misses.

Looks like Surya wasn't happy with the previous delivery! Launches this straight over the head of the bowler and finishes it off in style! Overpitched and maximum straight down the ground! India win by eight wickets, reach third on the points table right behind New Zealand!
IND won by 8 wickets
Arya: That’s what you call a thrashing. India has not only kept their hopes alive in the tournament but has gone past Afghanistan on net run rate which could be very crucial if the Afghans beat New Zealand in their last group game. The run-chase was always going to be a straightforward one for India and the openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came out all guns blazing.

KL Rahul started off the onslaught with some exceptional pick up shots. He literally toyed with the Scottish bowling line-up and blazed his way to a half-century of just 18 deliveries. Rohit Sharma also looked in sublime touch and played some wonderful shots to share a partnership of 70 runs with Rahul before his dismissal.

Rahul was also dismissed with India within touching distance of the victory target. In the end it was Suryakumar Yadav who smashed a straight six to seal the deal for the hosts. The run chase was set up perfectly after a dominating performance with the ball by the Men in Blue.

Ravindra Jadeja is the Player of the Match for his terrific performance with the ball- Yeah it is. I was enjoying bowling in this track today. Odd balls were turning. First one was a special one. Whenever you get a batsman out with turn its always a special delivery. We look to play good brand of cricket. We needed to win big then only we could have gone ahead in the net run rate. One more game to go. If we play like this nobody can beat us. In T20 cricket you have to play like this.
Kyle Coetzer, Scotland skipper- Yeah. Look a tough day in the office. We were outclassed in every department but only way we can improve is seeing these games. Mark has been excellent all tournament for us. He has got array of skills. He is learning from other spinners as well. Leask has his own way of playing the game. He is a good striker of the cricket ball. He is a free spirit in the field.
Virat Kohli, indian skipper- Well look again a dominating pefromance. Something that we spoke after the last game. It will be interesting to watch what happens on the 7th. Toss can be a crucial factor here and how first inning and second innings can be drastically different. We spoke about 110 120 max.

That the mindset we went with. We restricted them to a total where we could press on. Rahul and Rohit were brilliant. We spoke about 8 to 10 over bracket. If you lose couple of wickets then those twenty balls could damage. We let them play they way they wanted.

Look I mean if you look at our practice games. The two games were an abberation. In 10 to 12 balls the whole game changes. If the bowling unit is smart enough. We couldnt get away at all in the first two games. Shami bowled with great intent. When Jadeja bowls like that, getting grip and turn. No I think I am over that phase. Having family in these times is a blessing in itself. They sang for me today so it was indeed a special evening.
That's all we have from the commentary box. Ta-ta and goodnight from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) and my fellow commentators Arjun Bhalla and Ninaad Dixit.
