O McCoy to R Pant
FOUR! Game, Set, and Match to India. Fuller length and in the slot, Pant picks it up and pulls it away over midwicket. The ball gets the gap and away it goes for a boundary to end the over and the contest. So, India wins this contest by 7 wickets with an over to spare to take a 2-1 lead in the 5-match series.

This is the highest successful chase at St. Kitts. The previous best was 147 by West Indies vs Afghanistan in 2017.
IND won by 7 wickets
India have won the match by 7 wickets and lead the series by 2-1.

India got off to a scintillating start while chasing a target off 165 runs. Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for India. Both were looking in good touch But unfortunately, Rohit(11 off 5) got retired hurt due to his back issues.

It was a big blow for India at the start of the innings. But all credit goes to Suryakumar Yadav who batted beautifully and didn't allow the West Indies bowlers to get over him. He kept the run rate ticking, and was accompanied by Shreyas Iyer in the middle where both of them stitched a  partnership of 105 runs for the first wicket. They dominated the West Indies bowlers. Shreyas Iyer got dismissed after scoring 24 runs off 27 deliveries.

Rishabh Pant joined Suryakumar Yadav in the middle and steered the innings pretty well, the runs were flowing for India at a brisk rate as Suryakumar Yadav was not shying off in hitting the boundaries. He scored 76 runs off 44 deliveries with the help of 4 mighty sixes and 8 boundaries. Pant played a shot and quick cameo off 33* runs in 26 deliveries and took team India over the line.
Throughout the innings,  West Indies didn't have the upper hand in the game at any stage. Their bowlers were looking a bit rusty today just opposite of how they looked yesterday. Dominic Drakes and Akeal Hosein took a wicket each.

Earlier in the day India won the toss and elected to bowl first. West Indies scored 164 runs off their 20 overs quota. Kyle Mayers batted exceptionally well, scoring 73 runs off 50 deliveries.
Bhvneshwar Kumar bowled beautifully and showed his skills once again, He scalped a couple of wickets. Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh scalped a wicket each.

India dominated in all three departments today and they got the results in their favor, They chased the total easily and they lead the 5 match series by 2-1!!!
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony!!!
Surya Kumar Yadav, Player of the Match: "Really happy with the way how things went. When Rohit went, it was important for someone to bat deep and I am happy to do that today. The pitch was slow and so I think it was important for someone to play long innings and I was the one today. I love batting at the top and have opened in the IPL before so happy batting there. I was holding myself back and loved playing that shot over the keeper. It was all about playing to the situation."
Nicholas Pooran(West Indies Losing Captain): "I felt like we didn't get an early wicket, We didn't ball well in the powerplay. We felt like we had a good total on the board, Pandya and Ashwin bowled very well they didn't allow us to score runs. We kept losing the wickets, We need to get good partnerships in the middle, Unfortunately, I feel that we were 10 to 15 runs short today."
Rohit Sharma, India Winning Captain: "It's OK at the moment. We have a few days before the next game and so should be fine. I think the way we bowled in the middle overs was the most pleasing thing. They were dangerous batters out there and the way we bowled variations and the deliveries were pleasing. I think the way we chased was good and commendable and that is what we did. Clinical display here. The way Surya batted after I went away and that partnership with Iyer was crucial to us and that set it up. It was not easy to chase 165, but I am happy with the way we did it. Glad that we won and look forward to the next couple of games over the weekend."
