Chasing 139 for the consolation win, Sri Lanka rode on Chamari Athapaththu's unbeaten 80 off 48 balls with 14 fours and a six to her name. She lost her opening partner Vishmi Gunaratne for 5 in the first over. Harshita Madhavi contributed with 13 off 14 balls while Silva contributed with 30 off 28 balls as she helped her skipper in the match-winning 76-run stand. Dilhari was unbeaten on 7 off 7 balls as Sri Lanka got to the target within 17 overs.
From India's point of view, Renuka Singh bowled 4 overs 1 for 27. Deepti Sharma was expensive in her 3 overs yielding 26 runs.
