Mitchell Marsh: "We had a bit of fun out there. We were looking for some runs. It's always good to start well when you chase a small total. I thought of playing the supporting role with Head going all guns blazing. But I too joined the party. I was looking whether there was some swing with the new ball, but it wasn't the case and we batted accordingly. It is horrible standing at the slips. They come quicker at you and Smith did really well to hold onto blinders. Starc was brilliant as usual. It's really tough standing there (slips) to him as the ball flies at around 80 miles per hour. He bowled well. We have a rare opportunity to win a series here in India."
Travis Head: "It is good to contribute to the team's win and stitch a big partnership. We looked settled out there in the middle. Last game, I was a tad early on the push. It's nice to stay at the other end and watch the big guy smashing them to the top tier. Very rare that both of us went through aggressive routes. Always, it's one guy smashing while the other one playing watchfully up at the top. But since the total was small we both thought of going together. We enjoyed the partnership, it was nice."

Rohit Sharma (India Captain): "No, obviously, if you lose a game it's always disappointing. There was not enough runs on the board. This wasn't 117 runs pitch. We just didn't apply ourselves well. We had a couple of small partnerships but couldn't make it last longer. We didn't bat well. That could have been a possibility.
Once Shubman was out in the first over, myself and Virat added 30-35 runs for the second wicket. But once I lost my wicket, we fell over, losing a couple of wickets quickly. We needed to apply better.
Starc is a master of swing. He bowled really well. We needed to judge the in and out swing well. We should have known which way he was moving it. He is one of the finest bowlers going around. He bowled to his strengths and swung it both ways.
Though I wasn't there in the first game, I watched the highlights. I saw him (Marsh) playing those shots up at the top. He is one of the finest power hitters going around. Definitely at 3rd or 4th in the world when it comes to power hitting."

Mitchell Starc: "Ahh...I used my experiences. I was happy with my rhythm for a few weeks now. Since the last couple of matches, I have been able to shape the ball back in.
Yeah, that is something we discussed in Mumbai as well on certain lengths. That length (full) sometimes goes for runs but those are the ones which bring all the modes of dismissals. That (bowling attacking lines and lengths) is the role I play.
My conservations are slightly different to someone like Cameron Green or Marcus Stoinis, who have different roles.
Yeah, I got him (Surya) a couple of times now. As I said, my role is attacking the stumps by moving the ball both ways. Yeah, lucky enough to get the ball swinging. Thank you."
