7:48 PM IST | That is it for the match as West Indies seal the series with a massive win. West Indies win by an innings and 4 runs with more than 2 days remaining in this series decider!
After being trailing by 177 runs, Zimbabwe didn't get the start they needed as Tanunurwa Makoni and Chamu Chibhabha got out for just 1 run. Innocent Kaia (43) and Craig Ervine rebuilt the sinking ship with a partnership of 41 runs for the third wicket. But once Kaia was out to Gudakesh Motie in the 17th over, Zimbabwe started collapsing.
Again it was Gudakesh Motie who ran through the middle and lower-order batters, skittling out Zimbabwe for 173 runs in 47.3 overs. Amidst the havoc, Ervine (72) notched up a fighting fifty but wasn't able to avoid the innings defeat.
For West Indies, Gudakesh Motie (17.3-1-62-6) picked 6 wickets in the second innings and, in total, picked 13 wickets in the match. The match figures of 99/13 is the best for a West Indian spinner in Tests!
Earlier in the day, West Indies batted for just 11 balls, lost both of the remaining wickets and added just 2 runs. Victor Nyauchi (17.3-1-56-5) was the wrecker in chief, gaining his maiden five wickets haul in Tests. Brandon Mavuta (24-3-73-3) supported him with a three wickets haul.
