Adam Zampa (Player of the Match): "Yes, I think summing up the conditions was important. The total was good but it was a tough total to defend. The ground got dewy and it was tough to grip the ball. It was about sticking to basics and bowl well in the end.
During the batting innings, just told Starc to bat positively and hang in there and help us score the runs. It was all about being positive out there. It was one of those days where everything clicked for us and took the catch well."

Mitchell Starc: "Not our best start to the tournament, we started slowly and we are still waiting for that perfect game. They are defending champions and on their day they can be destructive. We expected them to come out a bit more aggressively but we bowled well to keep it under control.
We didn't really mention a par score at the halfway stage but Zampy's innings was fantastic. With 3/21 and a banger of a catch, he's had a hell of a day out there. Probably didn't get things right the other night, it's nice to get a full practice session and perform well today. Just focusing on jumping straight and it worked out well tonight and the one that swung to Joe early on, that's what I'm after.
For Joe's wicket I was stunned no one went up behind the stumps but good for Marnie to back me up and go upstairs. I don't think you can take anyone lightly in this tournament and our next opponents at Wankhede could prove to be quite a challenge. We saw India bowl well the other night and we could get swing there too."
