The match was filled with tension and excitement, keeping fans at the edge of their seats until the very end. Earlier in the game, Cape Town Samp Army won the toss and elected to bowl first. The Harare Hurricanes faced a tough start as Sheldon Cottrell's brilliant bowling dismissed Robin Uthappa and Regis Chakabva in the opening over, followed by Evin Lewis in the 3rd over.
