Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Quetta faced an early setback as Bismillah departed for a duck in the very first over. Due to the two-paced wicket, they struggled to score in the middle. However, Bangalzai played a pivotal role, displaying patience and skill to contribute an impressive 79 runs. With a valuable supporting innings from Salahuddin (22*), Quetta managed to reach a total of 132/5 on the scoreboard. Mohammad Irfan and Mohammad Amir Khan shared a couple of wickets for Quetta Region.
In pursuit of 132 runs, Lahore Whites got off to a rollicking start. Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Akhlaq spearheaded the innings for Lahore, and the duo wreaked havoc with the bat from the word go.
