Rovman Powell (West Indies Captain): "I think we got to look at it from the batting perspective. I feel we were 15-20 runs short. But we needed a good display from the bowling group.

We are normally good in the last five overs but you have to give the credit to the English bowlers. The way they bowled, it was difficult for us to get away and get to a good total.

(On King's injury) Little bit of a strain. But hopefully, he will be back fit for the next game. We know how important he is for us.

Those chances are difficult. But you have to give credit to Salt. I guess he loves playing against the West Indies. He always makes us pay when you drop the catches.

We have to look back and evaluate. Our destiny is in our hands and we need to continue to play some good cricket."
Jos Buttler (England Captain): "That was a really good performance from us. We planned really well, we've been practicing well and we executed both with the bat and ball really really well and we deserved the win.

We bowled really well to restrict such a powerful batting lineup, such good six hitters especially. We did a really good job at that. Still a decent score, we had to play well to get that but we were very smart with the bat. The guys were very calculative when they took their options on. Bairstow and Salt partnership was so good. Jonny came in with good intent and put the momentum straight back. When Salt got the big over, it certainly broke the back of it.

That's why I brought Jofra back there (in the 16th over) with Pooran and Andre Russell coming in, 2 of the best players in the world so we wanted to use Jofra there to get a wicket or restrict them. Sometimes you have to bring your best bowler back and shut them earlier.

Rashid has been excellent all the time. An important player for a long time. He has so much variations. Jonny batted at number 4 today. He is a class player. He's been for a really long time and we have decided to back class players. Today was an impressive innings, a really mature player's innings.

It was a really good performance. People say you learn when you lose but I truly believe you learn when you win as well. We will reflect on what we did well to win today and then put it to bed and move on to the next one."
