6:04 PM IST & 1:34 PM Local Time: Trent Rockets complete a comprehensive win by 24 runs. It was always going to be a tough chase but no intent from the batters made things easy for Nat Sciver-Brunt's team. Southern Brave's dismal season continues with another defeat.
Earlier in the match, Southern Brave won the toss and invited the Rockets to bat first. Despite getting a wicket off the first ball of the match, they conceded a whopping 155/7 from their set of 100 balls.
Sciver-Brunt led from the front with an unbeaten knock of 60. Grace Scrivens gave her good support with her knock of 36 off 24. Ashleigh Gardner and Heather Graham made 18 and 15 respectively.
Lauren Bell picked up 3 wickets, while Chloe Tryon and Lauren Cheatle got one wicket apiece.
In response, Alexa Stonehouse dismantled the top order by dismissing Danielle Wyatt and Maia Bouchier for ducks.
Smriti Mandhana played well for her 42 off 27 but she was too cautious in the start and that added pressure on the Brave batting line-up.
Only Chloe Tryon made a notable contribution from the bat apart from Mandhana. She remained unbeaten on 47 off 31 as the Southern Brave Women fell short by 24 runs.
Alexa Stonehouse picked up two wickets, while Ashleigh Gardner and Heather Graham got one each.
