Earlier in the day, the English bowlers—Charlie Dean, Sophie Ecclestone, and Lauren Filer—did a fantabulous job of bowling out the Proteas for 136. The two spinners shared seven wickets between them, while the speedster snapped three wickets.
Chasing the modest total, Tammy Beaumont and Maia Bouchier gave the visitors a solid opening stand. They added 69 runs to them, but Annerie Dercksen removed both the openers. Meanwhile, Marizanne Kapp removed Heather Knight.
However, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Danni Wyatt-Hodge shared a quickfire stand of 47, making sure that England didn't lose wickets in a cluster like South Africa. And in the end, Amy Jones took England home with two fours.

Charlie Dean (Player of the Match): "When I talked to you during the mid-innings, I didn't know that I have snapped a hattrick but now I know that. There was help from both ends, so I enjoyed bowling from both ends. See, I am still young and learning, and I am working on batting."
Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa Women Captain): "We lost the game in the powerplay itself. As the ball was swinging early on, we lost wickets in clusters. And as the game moved forward, the conditions became flatter and flatter.
