Suryakumar Yadav (Player of the Series and India Captain): "I think more than the last over, I feel when we were 30/4 and 50-5, the boys showed great character and the way they batted was great. I feel 140 was a par score here. When we were going on the field, I told that I have seen such collapses and if we can put heart and mind into it for the next one and half hour, we can pull it off.
(On youngsters in the squad) You would have seen them bowl. But I think the amount of skills and the self-belief that they have makes my job easier. I still remember that after the first two games, I told that some of the guys will have a rest. Some boys came up and said that they can have the rest and the others can have a chance.
Really happy with the performance of everyone. The way these boys are stepping up with the bat takes pressure off me. I said at the start of the series is that I don't want to be the captain and I want to be the leader."

Suryakumar Yadav collects the Trophy for winning the T20I series 3-0 against Sri Lanka. This is his first assignment as a full-time Indian T20I skipper. He gets the job done! The entire Indian side, along with the support staff, stand behind the champions board and celebrate the series victory.
