Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan Captain): "Obviously, it's a proud feeling, especially after losing the first match. The expectations from the nation are always high, but we had the confidence to bounce back. We knew there would be pressure, especially playing away from home where conditions are always challenging. However, as professionals, we handled it well, minimized our mistakes, and delivered a strong performance.
In international cricket, you’re always going to face pressure, but we had confidence in our abilities. We defeated Australia in their own backyard, despite the challenging conditions there. Coming here, we faced entirely different conditions, but as professionals, we gave it our best.
(On going with the spinners with the new ball) Given the weather conditions, we decided to bat first, set a strong total, and aim to bowl 20 overs as quickly as possible to bring the DLS method into play. This is probably the first time we’ve managed to bowl 20 overs within the first hour."
