5:37 pm IST, 4:07 pm Local Time: UAE are all out for 65 and Pakistan A win by 114 runs to become the fourth and final team progress through to the semi-finals.
In the first innings, Pakistan A got off to a great start with Yousuf (21) and Y. Khan (25) taking the attack to the bowlers in the powerplay. Farooq did well to strike in the powerplay and eventually was the stand out bowler for UAE thanks to his 3-fer.
The rest of the innings was all about Mohammad Haris' brilliance. The Pakistan A skipper scored a brilliant 71 off 49 balls to set the foundation for a big total.
He received ample support in the slog overs from Haider Ali who stayed unbeaten on 32(17). Overall, it was a great batting effort from Pakistan A as they went on to pile a commendable score of 179/4 in their 20 overs.
UAE came out to bat and showed intent right from the start but they were never in the chase. Shahnawaz Dahani struck early in the powerplay and took 3 wickets in his first 3 overs.
Tanish Suri looked good during his short stay at the crease and played some exemplary shots but he was dismissed for 15(15) by Dahani in the sixth over. It was all downhill for UAE from there on.
The skipper Rahul Chopra tried his best but couldn't stitch any substantial partnership with the other batsmen. Dahani came back into the attack and took two more wickets to complete his 5-fer.
Dahani was easily the standout bowler with figures of 5 wickets for 12 runs in his 4 overs. The UAE tail-enders failed to put up any fight and eventually got bundled out for 65.
