Abhishek Sharma (POTS): "Of course, I was waiting for this tournament. When I found out that we were visiting Australia for a T20I series, I was very excited. All this time I have seen that Australia have very good batting conditions for everyone. That is what I was practising for. Still, we could have batted a bit better and got a few better totals. I feel that whatever we practised and planned, we have executed it.

Of course, for any team, it was beneficial not to face Josh Hazlewood. I always enjoy the battle between a batter and a bowler. You have to face world-class bowlers and bowling attacks, if you have to do well in future. I was practising for this kind of bowling attack. That is where you do good for your team and build momentum.

(On charging the bowlers from ball one) No, I feel, special mention to my captain and coach. They have given me the special responsibility of just going and expressing myself. As a batter, when you are scoring 20s and 30s, it isn't easy. You know, sometimes, you have it in you to bat for a longer time. But that is the clarity you have as a player, and the support staff gives it. That's what I've been practising in the nets and the off-season as well. I have to be on top-notch.

(On T20 World Cup 2026) Yeah, one of the biggest tournaments. It would be my dream come true to be playing in the T20 World Cup and win it for my country. It has been a childhood dream. I will make sure that I am ready for it. Looking forward to it."

Mitchell Marsh (Australia Captain): Can't really remember the last time we played with so many rain interruptions. It was a great series. Credit to India. Congrats to India on the win. They obviously won the games when it mattered.

A lot of learning, positives to take. The adaptability and flexibility in our group and the squad we're trying to build in a World Cup year have been amazing.

Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "Yeah, I mean, the weather is not in our control. Obviously, we wanted the game in Canberra to continue. Credit goes to all the boys for the way they bounced back after losing the second T20I.

Everyone chipped in. Bowlers, both spinners and pacers, know their job really well. Bumrah and Arshdeep together are a lethal combination. Then Axar and Varun come in and do what they do the best. Then you have Washi, who is handy. They know what to do. They have played a lot of cricket. They have played a lot of T20 cricket. They bring a lot to the table, plan, and execute, which is what you want.

Squad-related thing is a good headache to have before the World Cup. We had a good series here in Australia. We have two more T20I series to come. Very good series against South Africa and New Zealand. Everyone has so many runs and wickets on their back. It is a good headache to have. We will see it going forward.

I saw recently what happened with the Women's team playing and winning a home World Cup. Obviously, there will be a lot of support. It will be good to have such home support, but at the same time, it will put some pressure on leading your team in a home World Cup. There's a lot of excitement, support and responsibility at home. Two important series to go. I believe it will be an exciting World Cup."
