Toronto Sixers could only end up with 51/6 with only Amarpal Kaur getting into double figures while the extras which amounted to seven finished as the second-highest scorer for the team.
Chasing 76 for victory, Deandra Dottin was given out off the very first ball but she over-turned the decision through the DRS. (Discussions in the team meetings) A little, it is such a quick turn-around. We played well yesterday but just got outplayed. We knew if we play to our best, we would have a chance."
Deandra Dottin (Toronto Sixers Captain): "Just a little bit disappointed with the loss but proud of our fielding and bowling. We have another chance tomorrow. Message is to just have fun, give your best and believe in yourself."
Amanda-Jade Wellington (Vancouver Thunderbirds Captain): "Over the moon for the girls, what a performance to defend that total. (Favourite moment) Definitely not my drop catch.
