Josh Tongue (POTM): "[On his football skills referring to the run out he attempted with his foot] I know, my right foot is a bit sore now. We got over the line and that is the main thing.
[On the score they got with the bat] We are really happy with the score we got. I thought Paul and Klaasen batted really well. I thought we started off well with the ball in the powerplay and finished off well as well. So really happy.
[Thoughts as a bowler when the ball is flying around] It is quite tough to be fair. It is obviously a good pitch here at the Oval. It does travel quite quickly across the square. The plan was to hit the top of the stumps as much as possible and glad we got our wickets.
[Thoughts during the last bit of the match about playing the Final] It is obviously nice knowing that going into the backend. However, we need to make sure we reset, recover well and go well again on Sunday."

Jos Buttler (Manchester Super Giants Captain): "[On the win] Really happy. So many players stood up in some crucial moments for us. Tim Seifert played a fantastic knock the other day so to lose him early was disappointing. However, Paul Walter has been incredible like the backbone of the innings and Klaasen did what he can do. With the ball we were good all round. We found ways to take wickets. Our Achilles heel at the start of the tournament was our catching but we took some great catches today.
[On getting the combination right] Stressfully but trying to. It is such a dangerous line up. I just tried to front load our attack and find ways to take wickets. On this ground, players get in and get on a roll so was just trying to take them as far as possible behind the rate. Dawson came in and bowled two perfect yorkers just when we needed them. It worked out which is great.
[Was it consciously done to starve Ryan Rickelton of strike?] Just the way the Hundred is. We didn't consciously think about it. I do like to have cover and midwicket, if they are in the ring, to be on the one. If the bowler has bowled so well to get a dot ball, he should get it. Thankfully, he faced just 36 out of 100 balls. Such a dangerous player. So consciously or not, it was good for us.
[On Harry Brook's dismissal] I think from my angle, it would have been just outside the line. It is obviously such a dangerous player. We had a nice period against him trying to slow him down. See as I said, you have to get these batters out. If they bat for 40-50 balls, they will win you the game. Fortunately, we got a good decision there.
[On the bowling attack] We do have a nice attack. All the seamers are different. Noor Ahmad is obviously unique in his style of bowling. Obviously, we have Michael Bracewell in the side for his off spin. It is a good thing as a captain to have the options for you to bowl the best one at the right time.
[What has worked well for Josh Tongue?] I think pace is one thing. Also, he has got some good slower balls. So, if you can bowl 90 mph and then bring the pace down, it is very effective. He created angles, awkward angles for a batter. He also hits good lengths, and he is a wicket taking bowlers across formats.
[On having an off day tomorrow] Yeah, it is important to have that rest. Much better this year where you do get that day off. We are not playing tomorrow and that is good for the guys. I don't know if we change hotels or something like that. It is good to get to the finals. Really excited. Just enjoy this evening and focus on the next one.
[On Trent Rockets potentially losing momentum having not played for a while] Yeah hopefully. Trent Rockets have been a top side. They got straight away into the final because they have been a form side throughout the tournament. We have been playing and in a good rhythm. Though, on the flip side they have had some rest and more time to prepare.
[On Paul Walter] Performances. He has been fantastic. He has played formerly for the Manchester Originals and knows the conditions well. He had a good season in the Blast. He is awkward to bowl at. He is a tall man with a great reach. Tough to bowl at. Some of these shots were off pretty good balls. Any player who can put pressure on the bowlers from a good length is a good player. The most pleasing thing is how he has continued his form. Each game he has batted really well and hopefully he has one more left in the bank for us.
[On Henrich Klaasen finding form] I don't always watch guys bat in the nets. I watched him yesterday and he looked impressive. It was almost as if he found something. A player of that quality when they come happy from practice is great. He executed really well today. He has been one of the best players in this format for a long time. Good to have him in the team."

It was a matter of bringing out the A-game in this Eliminator and it was Manchester Super Giants who did that with both bat and ball. Some great individual performances from the likes of Paul Walter, Heinrich Klaasen and Josh Tongue to power the Super Giants to their third Men's Hundred Final.
