Sam Hain (Warwickshire): (On the overall performance and James Rew's impact on the game) "Sometimes in cricket, a player can just have a special day, and that’s what happened here. But to be fair, it really started with James' performance. I think there are still areas where we can improve. Fielding is definitely one of them because I don’t think this was our best fielding performance. But games like these are often decided by very fine margins.
(On bouncing back after the defeat) The games come very quickly in this competition, and momentum plays a massive role. All we can do now is dust ourselves off, think about things both individually and collectively, have a good training session, and before we know it, we’ll be back out there again. Hopefully, we’ll put things right in the next game.
(On the long tournament ahead, despite only two matches being played) There’s still a long way to go in the competition. It’s only two games in, so there’s plenty of time for us to turn things around. That’s the nature of this format - momentum can shift very quickly."
