GLM won by 6 wickets
01:48 AM IST, 09:18 PM Local Time: What a cracking performance from Glamorgan as they complete a solid six-wicket win over Middlesex in front of their home fans. Sean Dickson led the charge with his unbeaten 67* (34) to help Glamorgan coast to the 154-run target.

Glamorgan's chase got off to the worst possible start as their skipper, Kiran Carlson got out to Zafar Gohar off the very first ball of the innings. Eathan Bosch then struck in the fourth over to remove William Smale courtesy an unbelievable catch from Luke Hollman at short third. Ben Kellaway started off with a couple of fortuitous boundaries but he eventually grew in confidence with Glamorgan finishing the Powerplay at 49/2. Kellaway's stay wasn't for too long after that though as Naavya Sharma castled him in the 8th over with one that seamed in a huge amount. Thereafter, there was no treat for Middlesex as the duo of Asa Tribe and Sean Dickson kept rotating the strike to keep the asking rate in check.

The game hung in the balance until the end of the 11th over when Glamorgan need 77 off 54 balls. Asa Tribe cut loose after that which meant the runs started flowing and there was no looking back with Sean Dickson also scoring three consecutive boundaries in the 16th over. Dickson got to his fifty but Tribe fell for 46 with Glamorgan only needing three more runs for victory. Eventually, Dickson smashed another maximum as he finished on 67* (34) with Glamorgan getting home with 15 balls left to spare.

Earlier in the match, Nathan McAndrew got a fine start for Glamorgan by castling Max Holden for a four-ball duck. Joe Cracknell and Matt Boyle batted well after that as Middlesex batted with a good run-rate until the sixth over when McAndrew trapped the latter in front. Middlesex finished the Powerplay at 57/2 but Cracknell got out immediately off Mason Crane's first delivery. A couple of overs later, Crane struck again off his first ball to get rid of Leus du Plooy.

Ben Geddes didn't make the fall of wickets bog him down as he produced boundaries consistently to keep the scorecard going. However, Geddes got run-out for 38 (22) in the 13th over with Luke Hollman being the guilty party. Hollman himself didn't make much as he was caught and bowled by Crane. Crane got his fourth scalp in the form of Zafar Gohar. The innings seemed to go nowhere but Eathan Bosch batted sensibly along with Sebastian Morgan to build the innings. Middlesex still needed a boost at some point to post a decent total and that came in the final over as Bosch produced a couple of boundaries in the final over which went for 17 runs. This meant that Middlesex finished their 20 overs with a total of 153/7 which still didn't prove to be enough.
So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj as I wrap up the coverage of this T20 Blast fixture. A note of thanks for our scorer, Paras Yadav too. Do stay tuned to our coverage with a lot of cricketing action going around.
