Jason Holder (ADKR Captain): "It was good to get over the line, and full credit to the boys for the way we played. We didn’t get off to the ideal start with the ball, as they started pretty well, but we kept our composure and knew things could change if we stuck to our plans.
The middle overs were absolutely crucial for us. At one stage, they were going along quite comfortably, and it was important for us to break those partnerships.
Credit to Piyush and the other spinners - I thought they bowled really well and applied pressure from both ends, which turned the game in our favour. Everyone chipped in with contributions, and that’s always pleasing as a captain.
It wasn’t about one individual today, as it was a proper team performance. As for the chase, there are always nerves when you’re going after a target. That’s part of the game. But the boys held their nerve really well and stayed calm under pressure, which helped us get back-to-back wins."
