OUT!!! DONE AND DUSTED!!! TAKEN!! GONE!!! Round the wicket. Angling in, on a length, and around middle. Jasper backs away and tries to pull it, but gets a top edge. The ball goes high in the air to the left of the keeper, where Chu runs across to his left and pouches it safely. THE ANTWERP ANCHORS HAVE DEFEATED LIEGE RED LIONS BY 46 RUNS!!!
Done and dusted! This got over rather too quickly after Faf du Plessis was gone. A classical collapse from the Liege Red Lions and they will compete with Ghent Gladiators in an hour or so for that fourth spot!

Time for the post-match presentations...
Martin Guptill (Antwerp Anchors Captain): "(On the win) Yeah I still think we were 20 short with our batting line. We kept on losing wickets in the middle and could not build momentum to get to a big score. Though happy to go out there and defend the total.

(On not having to play back-to-back games today) Yeah, happy times isn't it, for us? The boys are extremely happy with that one.

(Message to the boys going ahead) Rest up well and just get ready. I mean, we have played some good cricket, but we can do better. We still haven't played our best game. So, I'm looking forward to seeing that one."

David Wiese (Player of the Match): (On his performance) "Yeah, it's nice to contribute and get the boys over the line there in the end.

(On the team's position in the tournament) Yeah, just happy we didn't have to play back-to-back games, to be honest. It's always tough to get up for two in a row. So it's nice to be able to go back home now, get the feet up a little bit, and come back again in the morning.

(On preparing for the next game) Yeah, a lot of recovery. Time in the pool, just getting the body sorted. And then just reflecting on everything that we did well, where we can improve. And knowing that we've got three more games now to play."
What does this result mean moving forward? Everything. The Antwerp Anchors march into the Super Four with momentum, confidence, and a growing reputation as one of the most balanced sides in the tournament. Mark Watt's fifty rescued their innings. Wiese delivered with both bat and ball. The bowlers defended 178 with authority. As for the Red Lions, there is no time to dwell on this defeat. The rain has arrived, the covers are on, and another challenge waits around the corner. Later today, they face the Ghent Gladiators in a virtual knockout. Win and advance. Lose and go home. Cricket rarely writes better drama than that.

Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator, Manan Mehta, and scorer Paras Yadav. That’s it from our side. Thanks for joining. But cricket doesn’t sleep. Plenty is happening around the world. Switch tabs, follow the fun. Goodbye from this tab! TAKE CARE! BREATHE AND SMILE! CIAO!!!!
