12:01 AM IST and 11:31 PM Local Time: The wait stretches and stretches. The next inspection is scheduled for 12:20 AM IST and 11:50 PM Local Time. A wet patch in one of the squares remains the cause of concern. Live visual suggests that the groundsmen are applying sawdust there.

12:20 AM IST and 11:50 PM Local Time: The umpires are walking out for another inspection now. Now they are calling the captains of both the sides. Iftikhar Ahmed of Peshawar Region and Mohammad Imran Randhawa of Bahawalpur are in and are discussing something with the umpires.

It has been a long day of wait and more wait. Unfortunately, the tireless of the groundstaff in Peshawar could not beat what nature had in store for us. 

With the two no results today, we have our semifinalists from Group A. Karachi Whites and Lahore Whites proceed to the knockouts and will await their opponents who we will know more about tomorrow.

The action will continue here in Peshawar tomorrow. Abbottabad will take on Lahore Blues at 5 PM IST and 4:30 PM Local Time. Sialkot will take on Multan in the final league game at 10 PM IST and 9:30 PM Local Time.
