This is a big win by 142 runs as they clinch the series 2-0 with a game to spare. Bangladesh were never really in it and were blown away by the Afghan team.
Chasing a massive 332 for the win to keep the series alive, Bangladesh never got going and lost wickets at regular intervals. Skipper Litton Das scored 13. Towhid Hridoy scored 16. Shakib Al Hasan hung around there for his 25. But it was the lone hand from Mushfiqur Rahim that gave Bangladesh some sort of respectability. He scored 69 off 85 balls. Mehidy Hasan Miraz showed resistance for his 25 off 48 balls. In the end, it was a bridge too far as Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for 189 in 43.2 overs with Ebadot Hossain unable to bat. 20 extras were given by the fielding side.
The Afghanistan bowlers were disciplined with the ball. Fazalhaq Farooqi was the pick of the bowlers as he started it and finished it with 3 wickets for 22 runs in 7.2 overs. Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "Yeah definitely, when you win the toss and opt to bowl first, the bowlers didn't do their job. We were not up to the mark in the field and with the ball. The way Gurbaz and Ibrahim batted was outstanding, credit goes to them. As an opener, if you bat like 20-25 overs, it is not difficult. If you have wickets in hand, you can chase down a score above 300 runs in that format easily."
Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Player of the Match): "Yes, first thanks to allah. After 3-4 innings, I was under pressure, but the captain gave me support and so did the coach. In the end, no pressure and I took on the bowling. The idea was to spend some time and not be in a hurry to score runs. Credit goes to Ibrahim. The way he played he is a very good player and I love batting with him. Credit to him as well. Thank you very much."

Yeah, I thought the wicket was not easy but the openers had a very good start and they played very well. After the first wicket fell, it was not easy for the batters, but it was a good total on the board.
Our bowlers improved their show in this series and they put in a lot of hard work and the results are reflecting now. We have built this team well in the last three years and we hope that our results in the Asia Cup and World Cup will be different than what it was previously."
