Chasing a revised target of 119 to win in 17 overs in this rain-reduced game, It was Litton Das who led from the front with his 35 off 36 balls. Afif Hossain opened the batting and scored 24 off 20 balls. Towhid Hridoy scored 19 off 17 balls. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan remained unbeaten on 18* off 11 balls while Shamim Hossain was unbeaten on 7* off 7 balls and hit the winning runs. 12 extras were given by the fielding side.

T20 is all about skills and we didn't do it well, I think we failed as a batting group today, the ball was doing a bit in the second innings too. To be honest it's just like we need to know about our roles, and our capacities and we need to control our emotions.
If we do that well then we can be a good side. Taking the decision is also important when to rotate the strike, and when to go for shots. These are the things we are lacking, we need to work on them and get better. The mindset was to stay in the game, till the end of the game. The effort is important, I said the boys that if we get 2 wickets in the 9th over then we can make a good comeback.

Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh Captain):" I didn't think there was nerves. We are always as confident about this match. It is hard for the spinner to bowl. We got start and we always believe that will chase. Dry wicket, the ball comes in the bat nicely. A bit of a moment on for the seamer and we lucky win the toss. Yes, today was a day as much as possible to make the younger guys' job done. Yes, definitely most of the guys are playing ODI's and part of World T20's also."
Shakib Al Hasan collects the trophy and then takes it to his team mates and the celebrations begin. They deserve this win and they will celebrate long into the night. They pose for photographs in front of the banner. It's a happy lot.
