Luvnith Sisodia (Shivamogga Yodhas Captain): "(Another superb knock. It's such a wonderful time. I'm sure you must be delighted.) I mean, of course. I did, it's like a dream for every player to try and perform in the finals and get their team through.
(On the injuries that have haunted them amidst the tournament) Of course, it was a very big setback because the combination was set, and of course, losing players like R Smaran, Mohsin, and Yash, who were our top players, was a very big setback for us, but everybody in the camp were very positive. We gelled well, and here we are.
(On losing the toss) No, we were looking to bowl first anyways, we won the toss technically.
(On the loss of early wickets in the chase and the mood in the dugout after that) We weren't worried because you know, we believe in every player's ability, so there was nothing that we had to worry about.
(On his mindset during the final's knock and did he feel any pressure during that) No, not really. Now you have to back your instincts, and it is a format where you have to take chances, so you can't rely on singles and doubles always.
(On the team's bowling performance in the tournament) I mean all the bowlers. Especially Abhilash Shetty, who has been clocking 145-146 clicks, and then he has the purple cup with him. With MG, Achar, Shreesha, Mohsin, Punja, all of them they've contributed to the team. So, as a team, we won.
(On his thoughts towards the gameplay in the end moments) I mean, it was a little tight. Aneesh is known for making a lot of drama, so you know a typical Aneesh.
(On the mood of the dugout) It was a mix throughout. Initially, we started off with a win, and then we had a loss, and then we had a few players injured, and everything was a roller coaster. But then they say, it's not how you start. It's how you end, so we ended on the winning side.
(On the supporters and fans) I would like to thank everybody who has come here to support us from the Yodhas family. And, of course, thank all my players and the coaching staff to be handling all of us. And here we are, giving them results.
(Did he enjoy his captaincy?) Of course, I enjoyed the role, but then it's easier to keep it bat."
