In the pursuit of a monumentous target of 123, Bulawayo Braves never really looked in a good position.
Ben McDermott and Ashton Turner opened the batting for Bulawayo Braves but Mohammed Amir and Daryn Dupavillon did really well to restrict their scoring rate in the powerplay. McDermott scored just a run a ball 6 and his partner elongated his stay but was hugely unable to score at the required rate.
Ryan Burl, the number 3 batter scored 9 ball 11 before departing and the impact player Thisara Perera also followed him to the next ball. Captain Sikandar Raza scored a quick 11 runs in his short stay, Beau Webster(6). also fell cheaply. When Ashton Turner got out for his 32, the match went out of the Brave's hand. In the end, they lost the match by 26 runs.
For Durban Qalanders, Brad Evans took 3 wickets. Tendai Chatara took 2 and Mohammed Amir and George Linde took 1 wickets each.
Earlier batting first, brilliant batting display from Tim Seifert and Andre Fletcher helped Durban Qalandars to post 122-6 on the board. They showed clinical performance with both the bat and the ball to register a comprehensive victory.

Brad Evans (Player of the Match): "I don't know certainly. I bowled the right length and mixed the pace well. The wicket was pulling a bit holding the ball that I got benefitted of. The score was pretty decent the batter batted very well. We got 20-30 runs extra which gave us the freedom to bowl. Happy to be on the winning side and certainly I don't know when we will taher at the second position because this game changes very quickly.
