Sai Sudharsan (GT): "[How does he feel after playing at Chepauk?] Feels very grateful to be honest. Coming back to the home, I don't have much to say. Really enjoyed the crowd today. Feeling very happy.

[On his knock] I think to be honest, getting the confidence from the last innings and keeping it as fresh for today as possible. Just looking to take the positives from the last game and not overthinking too much.

[Did the wicket get better in the second innings?] I thought the wicket got better. But still in the first six overs, it was hard. It was important not to play any rash shots.

[Has he worked on playing late?] Yes, I work a lot on playing late. First few innings, I wasn't in my right rhythm. In the last two games, it has worked.

[How will he celebrate today's knock?] I will go to my favorite tea shop. I'll go there and have tea and bun maska."

Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): [on the performance] "Very happy to get a win like that. It is very difficult to win in this part of India.

[whether this was the complete performance] Apart from the last 4 or 5 overs of fielding, it was a pretty good effort from us.

[on the surface] I was a little bit confused whether to bowl first or bat first on this wicket. We bowled pretty well in the powerplay and it has been the areas where consistently we have done well. If I've to be really critical, finishing the innings has been a little bit of concern for us and in the upcoming games we will improve on that base.

[on bowling the left arm spinner in the end] When Dube came in, we were like should we bowl one over of Washi but we thought the game is in our hands and let's go as deep as possible maybe. They are 8 or 9 down and the last over doesn't mean much. He bowled a decent over gave about 13 runs. All in all it was a pretty good effort from us.

[on Sudharsan] He's been batting brilliantly. Even in the innings that he got out in the middle, he was batting beautifully in the nets and got a fifty in the 2nd match. It was always a matter of spending that much time on the wicket and once he is set, he is that kind of a player who can get the maximum reward with minimum risk and that's his advantage."

Kagiso Rabada (Player of the Match): "[How pleased is he with how the ball is coming out of the hand?] Yeah, actually didn't feel like I started very well today. That's how cricket goes. I'm just glad that I could put the result in and play my part in getting the win. We really needed the win today.

[Is he happy with his rhythm?] 100%. It is and it's just about maintaining that and staying ahead in the game.

[How do you stay ahead in the game?] I guess it's just not taking anything for granted. Sticking to your process and sticking to your routines.

[On working with Siraj] Lot of fast bowlers have a clear tactic. It's just nice to see the fast bowlers coming together. It's working because we are taking wickets. But it's also about containing the runs. It's a lovely journey that we have had so far."
GT get back to winning ways. CSK were completely outplayed today in front of their home crowd and will have to forget this loss quickly as they host MI next on Saturday. The second game of double-header Sunday has already begun in Lucknow. Do switch tabs to follow that game.

For now, this is
Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentators Ninaad Dixit, Pritam Dey, scorers Raju Khariya and Manish Bishnoi and statistician Aman. Bye bye.
