James Anderson has been handed the honorary life membership by MCC.
Gus Atkinson (Player of the Match): "It's been an incredible week. First of all, I want to say thanks to Jimmy. Playing in his last Test is just incredible and to do well has been incredible too. Growing up, I would come here at Lord's to watch him bowl. In this Test, I was standing at mid off and saw him running in and thought, 'I have seen this on TV plenty of times.' It was amazing.
The good thing about this group is that you are allowed to come in and be the player you want to be. To do well has been a fantastic feeling.
Seeing Pope for England has made me come out here and play for England.
(On opting out of IPL) I needed a few red balls games. I struggled with my rhythm a bit in the first few games for Surrey this season. A lot of people asked me whether it was the right decision? I can say it was the right decision now."

The guys have to believe as well. They have a lot of ability and talent and they need to showcase it at the big international stage. There's a bit of pressure, yes. But you got to be strong mentally.
That was a good stint we had. Some lads played in the T20 World Cup. The fast bowlers take a little time to get into it. Alzarri and Shamar will be better I believe so. Jayden and Jason were good and steady, it was good to see. All the batters including myself need to come to the party.
Australia tour will give some confidence as we lost the first Test of the series. We need to fight back strong and be mentally tough.

Before the start of the Test, it was really exciting to see the lads get the caps. Gus with the ball and Jamie with the bat and gloves were good. Both have very bright future ahead of them.

For all the guys starting under me, it's making sure that they get the opportunity to express themselves and that's what me and Baz are trying to do.
(On Jimmy Anderson) I could be here for 15 minutes talking about him. He's such an inspiration for many. A lot of young people have looked up to him and wanted to emulate him. Very very lucky to keep him in the dressing room. Having him sharing the knowledge with all the youngsters is great for us.

James Anderson: "I think its been an amazing 20 years. The reaction has been very special. Appreciate everyone coming out. To contribute to the win throughout my career has been literally. .. I just wanted to win games for England.
It has been different, emotions have been up and down. Seeing my girls ring the bell on day 1 was emotional. Could have taken the catch on the first ball but, its been an amazing 20 years and I am proud of every moment.
You can't have a long career without the family support. You are away from home for a long period of time. You talk about memories in the dressing room but its the family's journey as well ours. I hope they had a good time as I have.
I think as I mentioned winning series and Test matches have been the only thing that interested me. Winning in India and Australia, taking wickets and contributing in the series. Those are the things I will remember and are very very special.
I'm never really moved away from my responsibility. I enjoyed walking away after bowling 20-25 overs in a day. The amount of emotions you get from the ups and down in Test cricket. When the captain throws you the ball at 6 PM, it shows about your character and how deep can you actually dig. Also the situations you get managing people and partnerships, things like that help in things away from cricket as well.
I just feel like Test cricket is the perfect game. Its just sad to go. Its a roller coaster through the match. You are on the backfoot and need to fight to get up in the game. The satisfaction you get after winning a match in 3/4/5 days is incomparable. You need to be spot on as a team and perform.
[On Atkinson] He's been magnificent. What amazing week he's had. The thing I love about him, he didn't play a game in the winter, worked on his game and this performance will give him a lot of confidence. He's got all the attributes to become a great bowler in Test cricket."
