FOUR!!! That's the end of this fixture. Nat with some innovation to put an end to this game. Kerr bowls a leg-break on a length on the stumps, Nat had made up her mind very early to play the reverse sweep. She changes her stance and reverse sweeps it along the ground past point for a boundary. With this, England Women beat New Zealand Women by seven wickets.

Chasing a mere 104 runs for the win, England came out all guns blazing in the powerplay courtesy of their openers Danielle Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley. Wyatt scored 26 off 21 balls while Dunkley scored 26 off 16 balls. The captain and vice-captain finished things off nicely with Heather Knight on 14* off 14 balls while Nat Sciver-Brunt was unbeaten on 17* off 12 balls as she hit the winning runs. 12 extras were given by the fielding side as the victory was achieved in 11.3 overs.
Nothing much to talk about for New Zealand Women. A wicket apiece for Lea Tahuhu, Amelia Kerr and Eden Carson. But it was too low a score to defend.

Sarah Glenn (Player of the Match): "I feel the girls had a lot of energy in the field and they boosted me while bowling. It was a very good performance.
We communicate really well. We try to adapt consistently. We also have similar personalities and it helps.
I have not changed too much technically. It's just about the having the right mindset. I chase wickets but I try to stay calm.
I wanted the fifth wicket but I dragged down a bit. But happy with my performance today and hopefully, I'll pick up a fifer in the future."

I am not too sure what is going wrong. Wickets in clumps never helps you out there. This is not acceptable at the international level.
We need to get back to the drawing board and see how we improve in two days.

We have worked hard to get here. We have worked hard with our skills. The seamers are doing well. Gibson has come back in the side and working hard on her seam-bowling. To get Devine with that type of delivery is great. We want to stay unbeaten throughout this summer and try to emulate the same performance at Lord's.
