INDM won by 8 wickets
10:00 PM IST and Local Time | India Masters win a one-sided affair against South Africa as they beat them by 8 wickets after bowling them out for a mere 85 runs in the first innings.

Earlier, India Masters won the toss and opted to bowl first. This decision turned out pretty well for them as they bowl out their opposition for a mere 85. India Masters' spinners were spot-on with their bowling.

Rahul Sharma picked up a hat-trick and he was well supported by Yuvraj Singh and Pawan Negi from the other end.

Chasing 86, India Masters lost Sachin Tendulkar on the score of 12 on the board. Irfan Pathan came at 3 and played some shots, however he was removed by Eddie Leie in the sixth over.

Ambati Rayudu then stepped on the gear and started taking attack on the bowlers. He made an unbeaten and a match winning 62 run stand with Pawan Negi to guide his team over the line by 8 wickets remaining. Stay tuned for the presentation.
Jacques Kallis (South Africa Masters Captain): "I think we fell short while trying to chase 200. The wicket wasn't a 200-run wicket, thus we fell well short of it.

The conditions were very tough as one ball was spinning quite well and the other one not spinning at all. But, we should have adapted well and aimed for 160. We should have aimed for less and given ourselves a chance in the chase.

Apparently, he (Rahul Sharma) has been practising for a while now and I am sure he will enjoy it. He was certainly very good and getting a hattrick in this format is an incredible effort. He certainly put us under pressure and changed the game for India.

We have to turn it around. We will look to change the tempo as we have a two-day break."
Time for the post-match presentations!
Most Sixes of the Match - Pawan Negi
Player of the Match - Rahul Sharma
Rahul Sharma (POTM) : "Yeah it is a very big opportunity. I was waiting for it. My back was a bit stiff, special mention to the physio and to the whole staff. When you play for India, you will always need to prepare accordingly and then perform. Hashim Amla and Jacques Kallis are the wickets which I enjoyed the most."
Sachin Tendulkar (India Masters Captain): "Yes, three in a row is always a pleasing feeling. I think our bowlers started off really well, especially Rahul (Sharma), who got a hattrick. I have been a part of a T20 game, where three bowlers were on a hattrick chance, and one ends up picking a hattrick. Negi, Yuvi were also on hattricks, so I have never been a part of a match where three bowlers were on hattricks.

It's a beautiful stadium. Earlier, whenever I have come to Vadodara, I have always played on the other ground, but it was my first time playing on this stadium. The facilities are really good, the ground is good and the tinch of grass is good as well. Overall, it's a great ground.

Well, basically, the talk was just about changing the pace as the conditions are tough for bowlers as with dew coming on. So the strategy was to bring on the spinners early on. Rahul and Pawan bowled really well, and Yuvi joined in later."
