Arya: India have ticked quite a few boxes in the two warm-up games. The form of Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma going into the match against Pakistan will give them a big boost. Chasing the target, India never looked threatened. Having started off in a resounding note with KL Rahul carrying on from where he left against England, it was Rohit Sharma who blazed through to a knock of 60 of 41 deliveries after a relatively sedate start.
Rahul was dismissed on 39 but it was SKY and Rohit Sharma who spend enough time in the middle and played some delightful shots in the process to blunt the run-chase. Rohit eventually walked off the field after scoring 60 giving a chance to Hardik Pandya to spend some time in the middle. SKY on the other hand kept playing some innovative shots and remained unbeaten on 38. Hardik Pandya after mistiming quite a few deliveries ended up smoking a straight six to deal the deal for Men in Blue.
