Matthew Wade (Australia Captain): "We didn't play spin very well through the middle. They got a hold of us in the 4th or 5th over and then they didn't really let go so we lost a few too many wickets. Tim David had to take some air out of the game before he could launch in the end. Some areas to tidy up especially against the spin.
The bowlers coming in did a really good job. We just couldn't back them with the bat. Dwarshuis was very good tonight. Jason Behrendorff being a great force and Green to come in and do what he did for us today was really important.
McDermott and Philippe are gonna get another opportunity to play at a wonderful stadium. Just to see those guys get another chance and take the opportunity as well. We are looking forward to that and the World cup is coming up as well so it is going to be really the key."

Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "Yeah... Chuckles... Apart from the toss, I think the rest of the things have gone our way tonight. But yeah, the toss didn't go our way. The boys have shown characters and still fight to the end of the game, and winning was brilliant. It was most important for us.
We spoke in the meeting before the game to go out, and I said to them to express themselves and be fearless.
After losing a few quick wickets, the wickets of the senior batters, credit goes to those youngsters (Rinku and Jitesh) for the way they batted and got us to a competitive score.
Chuckles... (On not giving the spinners a bowl in the death overs). I always love to put Axar Patel under pressure. He bowls very well when put under pressure. The way he bowled tonight was unbelievable. The plan was very clear, to bowl yorkers on the stumps, and we'll take it from there. If that doesn't work, we'll see what happens.

Axar Patel (Player of the Match): "I was trying to flight the ball. I am bowling well since the first match. I know the ball is leaving the hand well. If there is an over that goes for runs so its not too stressful. There are other factors as well when you lose a match but I was just bowling at my strength and my 100%. If I do that and someone hits me for runs then you need to be mentally strong for the next game. You need to bowl stump to stump when there is dew and that's what we did.
You can't think that a lefty will hit me for runs, if you bowl in his arc, he will definitely hit you. You try a lot of things in practice but you are successfully executing new things on the field, it boosts your confidence."
