Despite Amelia's efforts, we lost too many wickets and went down. I feel it was a great cricket wicket. All bowlers did a good job. We felt pretty confident about defending this score from ball one. Saima was terrific, especially with Suzie's wicket. She's a special talent. She has been with us for one and a half month now as she was a travelling reserve. Really happy for her and hopefully it's the start of big things for her. Deepti is a star and she knows what she is doing. Radha chipped in really well too. The wicket assisted the slower bowlers."

Deepti Sharma (POTM): "No, it is important to start well that sets the tone. That was the belief. With the ball, I had to pick wickets and score quick runs. It is not a new bat, I played with it in the World Cup as well. But yes, enjoyed my time with the bat today. From the beginning, our mindset was not to look at the scorecard but just follow our plans and we should be able to defend it. (On Sophie Devine's run-out) It wasn't much, I just saw her outside the crease and decided to throw at the keeper, glad that it worked."
