Aiden Markram (South Africa captain): "We definitely thought the target was achievable. It came down to small moments with both bat and ball; if we had executed better, things might have been different.

Each player will think about how to make better decisions and come back stronger. Towards the end, we needed a quick 20-30 runs to secure the chase, but they executed their plans well."

Ross Adair (Player of the Series): "The South Africans are fantastic; I've come from a rugby background, and they're just as good, if not better.

I’d love to travel around the world and get some good innings in. The temperature is a bit different between Ireland and Abu Dhabi, but it’s a wonderful place, and we’ve really enjoyed playing here."
Paul Stirling (Ireland captain): "I think we would have liked to score 15-20 runs more, but they managed to squeeze us in the end once again. There was less dew, which helped us grip it better and make use of that.

It’s important to spend time at the crease to get a feel for the pace of the wicket. With new batters coming in, there's always a chance. I'm absolutely delighted—over the moon—to get a win against South Africa. We want to carry this momentum into the upcoming ODI series."

That's the end of our coverage as well, folks! Ireland created history as they defeated South Africa for the first time in T20Is. The two-match T20I series ended in a draw, and both teams will now prepare for the three-match ODI series starting on October 2nd. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of scorer/analysts Ghanendra Singh Thakur, Zeeshan Naiyer, and Chandan Kumar Singh. A special shout-out to Pritam Dey for taking the time to provide valuable insights during the second innings of the match.
