Keacy Carty (Player of the Match and Player of the Series): "Definitely good to come overseas and perform well. The weather held up today, and good to get the win. It's nothing to me but happy for the team.

We want that and tried to implement some methods if come against same conditions and try to figure out against the bowlers how we are going to go.

Paul Stirling (Ireland Captain): "Yeah, it was a bit of a struggle out there today, no doubt about that. I don’t think we quite hit our straps as well as we could have. There was definitely something in the pitch early on, and in hindsight, we might have reconsidered the toss and opted to bowl. I feel we could have been more consistent with our lengths. When we batted, it was clear that's what the West Indies focused on — and they executed it much better than we did. 

No, absolutely not. I wouldn’t change my decision — I was happy to put West Indies in to bat. But when we make that call, we have to be absolutely spot on from the start. We were just a bit off today, and we paid the price for it.

[On Little and Neill's injury] Yeah, look, they’re being assessed now, and we’re still unsure about the extent of the injuries. They’ll most likely undergo scans in the next few days to determine how serious — or hopefully minor — the injuries are. The final 20 overs were always going to be challenging, and they certainly were. We're now looking ahead to the T20 series."

Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Very pleased with the performance. You’ve got to have confidence. It was great to see the boys bounce back. We couldn’t control the weather in the last game — it is what it is. The thing about having experience is that you start to view situations differently. You see players gaining game time in other formats, and that experience translates well into this format. 

Forde is a handy player — he can bat lower down the order and is solid in the field. He's a valuable asset to have. This was good preparation for the England tour, and we’ll look to carry this momentum forward. Greaves has always been a quality cricketer, consistently delivering with the bat and providing crucial wickets whenever given the ball, including effective death bowling skills."

The series ended on level terms. Both captains shared the trophy 🏆 and posed for photographs.

Deepak: It was a day to forget for the McCarthys, as Ireland’s new-ball bowlers—Barry McCarthy (3/100) and Liam McCarthy (2/93)—were taken to the cleaners by the Windies batters, conceding a combined 193 runs in 20 overs.
