Nick Potts to Matthew Hurst
FOUR MORE! Would you believe it? Matthew Hurst, you are a champion! Hear the roar from the fans in the stands. Back to back boundaries from Hurst and the scores are level. Banged it short into the wicket outside off, slower ball. Hurst backs away for room, hops and slaps it aerially, beats the fielder at deep extra cover to his right for a boundary.
Back-to-back boundaries and Scores are Levelled!!! Hurst is playing a match-winning knock here for the home side. Lancashire require just a single from the final ball.

Nick Potts to Matthew Hurst
BOWLED HIM! OH MY WORD! You can't script anything like this. Stunned silence all of a sudden at Old Trafford as Nick Potts knocks over Matthew Hurst. Potts goes full and straight at the stumps, right in the block hole. Hurst walks down the track and looks to flick it away on the onside. He misses it on the inside edge and the ball rattles onto the stumps. Hurst is down on his haunches. What a dramatic end to this contest. The match ends in a TIE!
WOWWW!!! Nick Potts with a pinpoint yorker on the stumps and Hurst is beaten on the flick. He gets cleaned up and he can't believe it. He is down on his haunches as the Derbyshire players walk towards him to console him. The match ends in a Tie. We have just witnessed a thrilling contest here at the Old Trafford.

1:51 AM IST & 9:21 PM Local Time: Oh my word! You simply cannot script a finish like this. Matthew Hurst had taken Lancashire to the brink of victory but he'll be kicking himself after falling agonizingly short of getting his side over the line. The match ends in a dramatic tie, and Lancashire's hopes of progressing are now hanging by a thread.

Earlier in the day, Derbyshire won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Aneurin Donald and Martin Andersson gave the visitors a positive start. Donald's brisk cameo came to an end inside the Powerplay when he was dismissed for 19, while Andersson carried on and finished as Derbyshire's top scorer. Lancashire fought back strongly after the fielding restrictions, striking at regular intervals to keep the scoring in check. Useful contributions from Matthew Montgomery (26) and Amrit Basra (17) helped Derbyshire reach 150/9 from their 20 overs.

In reply, Lancashire made a solid start to the chase. Skipper Keaton Jennings scored the bulk of the runs in the Powerplay before falling for 23 in the fifth over. Lancashire were well placed at 46/1 after six overs. Michael Jones was then bowled by Akif Javed for 28 as Derbyshire slowly began to claw their way back into the contest. At the halfway stage, Lancashire were 65/2, needing 86 runs from the final 60 deliveries.

The turning point came in the 13th over when Sufiyan Muqeem struck twice, removing Ben McDermott and Joseph Moores in the same over. He then claimed the prized wicket of Liam Livingstone for 31, swinging the momentum firmly in Derbyshire's favour.

With 43 required from the last four overs, the game was finely poised. Derbyshire were outstanding at the death, conceding very few boundaries while continuing to pick up wickets. Lancashire needed 30 from the final two overs, and Jack Blatherwick (17 off 10) kept their hopes alive with a couple of crucial boundaries.

That left Matthew Hurst (30 off 17) with the responsibility of finishing the chase in the final over, with 13 needed for victory. Hurst produced incredible drama, smashing two boundaries to level the scores with three balls remaining, only to be bowled off the final delivery of the match. In the end, the contest finished in extraordinary fashion, ending in a thrilling tie.
What an extraordinary finish we've witnessed here at Old Trafford! The contest went right down to the final ball, with neither side able to find the winning run. In the end, Lancashire and Derbyshire had to settle for a share of the spoils as the match ended in a dramatic tie.
