18:13 IST and Local Time | We have witnessed one of the finest games of the Women's Hundred in this edition as London Spirit Women and Oval Invincibles Women game ended being a tie. A perfect London Derby on Sunday at the Home of Cricket.

Batting first, London Spirit Women were in deep trouble as Marizanne Kapp bowled a fiery opening spell. She took the wickets of Meg Lanning, Cordelia Griffith, Georgia Redmayne and the skipper Heather Knight to make them tumbling at 34 for 4. Danielle Gibson also got out for just 2 and Invincibles were reduced to 47 for 5.

Deepti Sharma took the charge from that stage and she took on the bowlers with frequent boundaries. She got some assistance from Eva Gray who scored 18 runs from 12 balls. Deepti scored 44 runs from 34 balls with 6 boundaries to help her team go past the 100 run mark which eventually ended on 113 for 9.

For the Oval Invincibles Women, Marizanne Kapp was absolutely brilliant as she picked up 4 wickets for just 11 runs. Ryana MacDonald-Gay took two wickets while Amanda-Jade Wellington took one wicket each.

Chasing the run, Oval Invincibles lost Chamari Athapaththu for just 5 and Lauren Winfield-Hill for 3. After the dismissal of two openers, Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp started to give the fightback with a flurry of boundaries. They registered a 55-run partnership between them from just 29 balls before Capsey got dismissed for 27. But Kapp continued to score runs. Meanwhile, Paige Scholfield, Mady Villiers and Amanda-Jade Wellington got out cheaply and the Invincibles were in trouble. But the well set Kapp and Jo Gardner took the scoreboard going forward. Kapp scored 47 runs off 32 balls with 6 fours and one maximum before getting dismissed by Deepti Sharma in the penultimate set.

In the final over, the equation was 4 from 5 balls. It came down to 2 from the final ball where MacDonald-Gay took the single but got run out in that ball in pursuit of the second run. So, the Invincibles finished with 113 runs too and the game ended being a tie.

Deepti Sharma shone with the ball after her stellar performance with the bat. She took 3 wickets for 18 runs. Tara Norris, Eva Gray and Charlie Dean ended up taking one wicket each.
Player of the match: Marizanne Kapp.
Marizanne Kapp (Player of the match): "It was good until I got out, that cost us the game. I love bowling, I love playing here. Didn't get the win but proud of the girls. Plan is to land the ball in the right areas. Slowly I am getting my rhythm back.

It was to take the game deep. We know they will bowl out their best bowlers."
Time to conclude our coverage from the cracking London Derby between London Spirit Women and Oval Invincibles Women which ended up being a tie. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya.
