L Filer to B Mooney
FOUR!!! Beth Mooney finishes things in style. Filer bowls it fuller outside off, Mooney leans forward and drives it nicely past cover point for a boundary. The ball races away to the fence and all smiles in the Spirit camp as they win the game by eight wickets. With this, London Spirit Women register their first win of the competition and knock out Welsh Fire Women.
LSW won by 8 wickets
22.02 IST: London Spirit Women have pulled off an easy triumph by 8 wickets here. Perhaps their openers made the chase a cakewalk. With this win, they have opened a winning account this season while woes for Welsh Spirit continue as they suffered a fourth consecutive loss of the season, they are yet to win a game this year and they are done and dusted from the competition with this loss.

That was a contest between the bottom two teams in the point table, winning a toss and batting first, Welsh only managed to put 119 runs on the board with the contributions from
Sarah Bryce (33) and Nicola Carey (28). They were around 30 runs under par and their rest hopes were shattered by London's openers. Beth Mooney along with her batting partner Danielle Gibson smashed the Welsh's bowlers right from the start. Gibson utilised the life she got on a no-ball and went on to score 34 (off 27 balls) before getting dismissed by Lauren Filer.

Sophie Luff who came at number three for them also departed quickly after scoring just 12 runs.
However, Mooney continued her good work, scored an unbeaten half-century (61 off 39 balls) and pulled off an easy chase for them along with Amelia Kerr (9 off 8 balls) who did the honours. Hold on for the presentations folks.
Beth Mooney is the Hero of the Match for her match-winning knock of 61* of just 39 balls.
Beth Mooney | Hero of the Match: "It was really nice to play here at Lord’s. Thanks to the crowd for the support and happy to get across the line. Our bowlers did an exceptional and brilliant to see them execute their plans to help us restrict them to a low total. Gibson has been given the freedom to go after the bowling from the word go and she hits the ball cleanly. Happy to see her seize the opportunity she got. It was nice to see Dean come out with a smile and it’s always good to play in the Hundred with the atmosphere we get."

That's all for this game. This is Ishan signing off with my co-commentator Akshay Bhide along with our star scorer cum analyst Chandan Kr Singh. We will be back with all the live updates. Until then, allow us a Good Bye.
