F Klaassen to D Malan
Klaassen is back into the attack now. Starts with a dot ball. Fuller outside the off. Malan drives it straight to the cover fielder.

SIXX!!!! He moves to 97 with this maximum...Cab he get to that hundred? Klaassen bowls that one on a fuller length on the off-stump line. Malan gets in the position and smokes that one over the long-on for a maximum...

FOUR!!! Ian finishes the game with a four and Malan will remain unbeaten on the score of 98...Klaassen from around the wicket hits the fuller length on the woods. Ian swots that one past the mid-on for a four here...What a run-chase this has been from the Trent Rockets. A third win on a trot for the Rockets and vice-versa for the Manchester Originals. Here at Old Trafford, the Rockets beat Originals by 8 wickets and 6 balls to spare...
TR won by 8 wickets
A clinical chase from Trent Rockets as they chase down 190 in 94 balls to get to the second highest-ever chase in Hundred history. They made this daunting target look like a mockery to get to three wins out of three games. Manchester Originals have lost three out of three.  Dawid Malan is the star with his unbeaten 98 off 44 balls.

Chasing a stiff target of 190 to win off 100 balls, the Rockets got off to a blistering start with Alex Hales and Dawid Malan putting up 85 in 38 balls. Alex Hales made 38 off 20 balls. Good contributions from Tom Kohler-Cadmore 30 off 17 balls and Ian Cockbain unbeaten on 20 off 14 balls helped Dawid Malan ace the chase. Malan was the star as he so often is with his 98* off 44 balls that included 9 sixes and 3 fours to his name.

For Manchester Originals bowlers, nothing to ride home about. Tom Hartley picked up a wicket and gave away only 24 runs off 20 balls. Matthew Parkinson also got a wicket to his name 1-36 in 15 balls. The others were torn apart, to say the least. Paul Walter kept it tight, but the others went for more than two a ball.

Earlier in the game, it was Lewis Gregory who won the toss and put the Manchester Originals into bat first. Manchester Originals batted brilliantly on a good-looking pitch. Jos Buttler looked good with his 41 off 25 balls. Phil Salt was the real hero as he batted through the innings and carried his bat with an unbeaten 70 off 46 balls. Valuable contributions from Andre Russell (16off 10), Tristan Stubbs (27 off 10), and Laurie Evans (26*off 11) propelled the hosts to get to 189-3 in 100 balls. Tristan Stubbs had a good day as he hit 24 off an over from Shamsi before getting out to him.

Samit Patel was the pick of the bowlers from Trent Rockets with figures of 2-20 in 20 balls. Tabraiz Shamsi picked up a wicket for 45 runs in 20 balls. The others went at two or more than two a ball with no wickets to show for.  It was a tough day for the bowlers from either side and the scores don't lie.

So, a win for 8 wickets for Trent Rockets as they go top of the table. Manchester Originals have lost three out of three and are languishing at the bottom of the table. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way shortly.

Dawid Malan (Player of the match): "I enjoyed it and it was a lovely wicket to bat on. I think we know if we got off to a great start as we got that today then we can chase down that total. I thought our bowlers bowled well today looking at the pitch. the fielding wasn't up to the mark including me. We know more about the hundred this year than the last year. A couple of home games coming up for us and hopefully will get a win in those."
Lewis Gregory (Trent Rockets Skipper): "It was a destructive chase from us. Happy about how we went on in with an aggressive manner. They have been amazing at the start (Malan and Hales) and it's superb they got on that momentum. We got a little more power this year according to the last year and it was an exhibition in the second half with the bat. The tracks at Trent Bridge will be a mix-up. I don't think we were best with the ball in today's game and we can get better in that one also."
That's it from this game. We hope you enjoyed this entertainment from Old Trafford. Do switch tabs to watch the Welsh Fire vs Birmingham Phoenix from Cardiff starting very soon and stay tuned for all other cricketing action across the globe. The Rockets beat the Originals in both the fixtures at Old Trafford.
