Oral Invincibles have won this match by 34 runs and have made it straight to the finals by skipping the eliminators.
After winning the toss and came into bat first, Invincibles set a target of 164 runs for the Originals. All thanks to the brilliant opening partnership of Suzie Bates and Winfield-Hill which took them to 164 runs along with the cameo of Marizanne Kapp in the later part of the innings. Suzie Bates remained not out till the end scoring 79 runs.
Came into chase, Originals kept on loosing wickets on a regular interval and lost their top four just at the score of 34 runs. Lizelle Lee kept on holding one end and kept on scoring runs and she got out on 64 runs off 41 balls. She did not got any support from the other original's batters which was the main cause that they remained short of
Sophia Smale and Marizanne Kapp were brilliant with the ball taking wickets 2 wicket's each. Other bowler's were also good keeping the Originals away from scoring runs and helped their team to get a convincing win at the end.
Suzie Bates, Player of the Match: "It was an important game for us as far as the final is concerned. We had a gut feeling to bat first after winning the toss, the bowler did a great job for us today. Really unfortunate for the players who missed out in the squad this season. It's hard to miss out on the players when they are performing well. After my shoulder injury, I missed the game too much. My body is going strong, I love playing for new teams and meeting new people. We know Saturday's game will be tough for us."
