AHH!!!!!!! What a game we have had!!!!! 200 balls bowled in the game and in the end, the game ends as a tie! Has Tom Curran made his ground?? On-field umpire sends it upstairs.... Low full toss on the middle and leg stump line, Tom whips it towards the deep backward square leg region. He takes the first run quickly and puts in the full-length dive to complete the second run. The TV replays showed that Tom Curran just dragged his bat into the ground and it's NOT OUT. What a game we have had here at Kennington Oval.
Incredible! Just Incredible! It's a tie! There is nothing to separate the teams after 200 balls! A run-out check in the end and all hangs in the balance! IS HE GONE? This is very close, and he SURVIVES!

1:17 AM IST, 8:47 PM Local Time | A blockbuster end to a super entertaining game! Welsh Fire and Oval Invincibles have failed to determine a winner in tonight's clash! And to be fair both teams deserved to win tonight! A titanic battle results in TIE!

Oval Invicibles won the toss and elected to bat first, and after a good start from the openers, Invincibles managed to claw their way back in by dismissing Luke Wells as the scoreboard read 32 after 15 balls, and that was just the start as Welsh Fire lost 3 further wickets for the next 11 runs leaving them reeling at 43/4 after 26 balls.

However, Joe Clarke had other ideas as the opener held up one end to top score for his team with 69 runs off 46 balls and with some assistance from Ben Green, he powered his team to a respectable score of 138/6 after their 100 balls.

Come the chase, Shaheen Shah Afridi produced another bit of magic to dismiss Jason Roy of the very first delivery for a golden duck! Will Jacks and Jordan Cox then stabilized the innings and stitched together a 58 run-stand for the second wicket. The latter top scored for his team with 51 runs off 43 deliveries to keep his team in the game.

But the plaudits go to Tom Curran, the all-rounder came in at No. 7 and played a blistering cameo of 38 runs off just 18 deliveries to keep his team in the chase but he eventually fell short. Two run-outs in last two balls meant Oval Invincibles let slip the victory from their grasp as Welsh Fire produced incredible scenes to end the match in a tie!

A well fought encounter between two evenly matched teams and both teams will be ruing the small window of opportunities they missed to tilt the tie in their favour!
Match Hero: Tom Curran
Tom Curran(Match Hero): "That runout was so tight, you can say that the fair result in the end. It could have gone either way on the last ball. I mean, to be honest, when I came in, I had only one option to go all over as we needed 12 an over I guess.

They had two world-class death bowlers lucky to get a few sixes. The crowd his amazing, they were loud. It's always amazing playing here at Oval. We played on a similar wicket, it was a bit double-paced. Gus showed in the first innings and in the second innings, Shaheen and Rauf showed it."
Well that's all she wrote for today folks! Incredible scenes to witness a nerve racking match end in a tie! Stay Tuned for more such brilliant action from the men's Hundred!

I am Anirudh, signing off along with my co-commentator Hitesh and our scorer/analyst Paras! Good night and we will see you on the next one!
